Work Experience Tools for Employers

How to use Work Experience as a recruitment tool for your business Work Experience is part of the school's educational program where students experience working life, often for the first time. It will also provide your business an opportunity to view potential future employees over a period of time that is convenient to you. The young person is not paid a wage during placement and there is no obligation to take the young person on as an emloyee at the end of the placement. There are a range of models in Queensland schools that include structured work placement, work sampling, work shadowing and research work experience. You can discuss with the school your preferred operating model, times and dates which are suitable for your business.

This video contains helpful tips to make the work experience placement a positive experience for the student, family, employer and school.
